Welcome

If you've made it this far...well I'm honoured and impressed. And maybe just a little scared.

Scared? Well, now you've shown an interest, I hope I can comment on subjects that holds that interest.

Let me spend a moment to say why I've created this Blog; what its purpose is - in the hope that it attracts your attention. 

Well simply, I have been searching for some time now for a forum where I am offered an opportunity of putting into perspective some of the thoughts I have on a range of diverse subjects. I'm not sure Twitter gives me the space I need to expand my thoughts fully, and my Facebook page does not offer the white space on which to paint my thoughts, nor the real opportunity of hearing from you. A Blog is appealing and ticks those boxes that other new media does not. Hence I have decided to put together this space.

My thoughts will sometimes be nonsense. Sometimes meaningful (hopefully). Some will be written in anger. Some in joy. Some on subjects of "great historical import" (to quote Janis Joplin). Some more personal and close to my heart. But for all things I will post them honestly and with no intent of hurt or harm.

I hope you will stay with me, and if you do, I would love to hear from you. All contributions welcome...and away we go!
